Annilte’s May Keywords Explained

Alignment Comes Before Seeking Approval;

Evaluation Helps Mitigate Emotions

In early May, just after the start of summer, the weather was pleasant. The team at Shandong Annai Conveyor Belt gathered to hear General Manager Xiu explain this month’s keywords: “Alignment comes before seeking approval; evaluation helps mitigate emotions.”

Broken down, these boil down to two actions:

Alignment: Before taking action, clearly communicate information, goals, standards, and expectations with relevant colleagues and superiors. Is what you want the same as what I think it is?

Assessment: When emotions flare up, don’t rush to lose your temper, shift blame, or feel wronged. Pause first and ask yourself: What are the facts? Is it worth it? What can be done?
