The ISO 9001 Annual Audit Reveals the Secret Behind ANNILTE’s Success in Earning Customer Trust

President Gao often says, “Sales is a continuous process of earning customer trust.” But trust is something you can’t see or touch—so how exactly is it built? The answer lies in last week’s ISO 9001 annual audit.

At the Annual Audit Site

On the day the experts from Beijing arrived, President Gao was waiting for them at the entrance in person.

The audit proceeded as planned—the experts reviewed records, conducted spot checks on production processes, interviewed front-line employees, and traced the flow of each product batch. All we did was present the facts as they were. Upon reaching the vulcanization workshop, the expert paused, pointed to a piece of equipment, and asked the operator, “When was this machine last calibrated?” The colleague answered without hesitation, then pulled a calibration record card from beside their workstation and handed it over. The expert took it, glanced at it, and asked no further questions.

Later, she said one thing to General Manager Gao: “Your employees are very professional; this shows that these procedures have become second nature to them.”

Five years on, this system is no longer just a document hanging on the wall—it has become an integral part of our daily operations.

Five Years of Accumulation

Many people ask General Manager Gao, “What exactly has ISO 9001 brought us?”

“We used to think quality management was ‘for others to see,’ but after these five years, we’ve realized it’s ‘for our own use.’”

He cited a set of figures: the customer complaint rate, which had been volatile before the system was introduced, is now nearly zero; customer satisfaction continues to rise, and the rate of referrals is increasing. “It’s not that we’ve become better at talking—it’s that our products speak for us.”

In the past, when a customer called, a salesperson might have reacted by thinking, “What’s wrong now?” Now, when customers call, it’s mostly to ask, “We have a new project—can you handle it?” Ultimately, quality management isn’t about obtaining a certificate; it’s about ensuring customers don’t have to worry about you and feel confident enough to entrust new projects to you.

The Customers’ Choice

After all, we’re just a conveyor belt manufacturer. PVC conveyor belts, PU food-grade conveyor belts, rubber conveyor belts, magnetic separator belts, mineral processing felt belts, vibrating knife felt belts… They may sound ordinary, but behind every product lies a critical component of our customers’ production lines. Wear, misalignment, or breakage—even the smallest issue can result in significant losses for our clients.

That’s why, over the past five years, one of the most important things we’ve done is to make “control” second nature. From the arrival of raw materials, to the process parameters of every production step, to the fatigue testing before shipment—every stage is documented and traceable. We don’t do this just to pass audits; we do it to honor every single order.

What truly makes our team proud has never been a certificate—it’s the long-standing clients who’ve never switched suppliers; it’s the partners who proactively recommend ANNILTE to their peers; and it’s the trust placed in us when clients say, “You’re the experts—we’ll follow your lead,” during solution discussions.

This confidence stems from our 35 R&D engineers, who can rapidly develop customized transmission solutions for various operating conditions; it stems from our meticulous attention to full-chain traceability—from raw materials entering the factory to finished products leaving the warehouse; and it stems from hundreds of internal audits and continuous improvement meetings held each year.

Our goal is simple yet unwavering: to become a globally trusted conveyor belt manufacturer—not through slogans, but through every conveyor belt that leaves our factory, every on-time delivery, and every instance where a customer feels they’ve “made the right choice.”

Conclusion

An annual audit is like a mirror. It reflects not what we’ve “done right,” but what we’ve “been doing all along.”

Quality is not a blitzkrieg; it is a protracted campaign. Trust is not a one-time choice; it is proven time and time again.

We’ve been walking this path for five years, and we will continue to do so.
